Visual Impact

A bare-chested rider climbs a dry incline on a dark horse beneath an expansive grey-green cloud deck. The rider and horse climb into a slope that seems to continue beyond the frame. Lifted hoof, taut reins, and the exposed torso hold the scene between pause and motion, effort and trust.

Artistic Detail

The incline rises diagonally through the lower frame as horse and rider follow its pitch. Their dark forms hold together against the lighter ground, while the rider’s bare torso provides a warm point above the saddle. Broad clouds echo the slope with slower, heavier movement.

Interior Context

Grey-green, brown, black, and warm skin tones suit rooms with stone, oak, leather, or wool. Use a larger vertical format on a stair landing or tall wall; keep it solo so the climbing figure's ascending diagonal can continue through the architecture and remain legible from below.

Quality & Presentation

Produced on museum-grade archival cotton rag paper and professionally framed in solid wood, the work is available in the sizes and frame finishes shown in the product options.

For Your Collection

Within Western Wall Art, the work is less about destination than the physical coordination of rider, horse, reins, and rising ground. This work makes ascent visible in the matching angle of land, horse, and rider.

The provenance of this piece begins with you.

Framing Guide

Made to last, every work is framed to order in wood with white mat board and UV-filtering acrylic.

01
Wood frames, made to order
Each frame is built and assembled for the selected artwork. Wood grain and tone vary naturally, particularly in Natural and Deep Natural.
02
White mat board
Both frame styles use white mat board scaled to the selected artwork size. Discovery Series works are set within a cut 2.4 mm conservation-grade mat. Editions Series works are floated over an uncut mat, with a spacer preventing the artwork from touching the acrylic.
03
UV-filtering acrylic
Both frame styles use clear UV-filtering acrylic. In the Editions Series Frame, a spacer keeps the floated artwork from touching the acrylic.
04
Ready to hang
Discovery Series Frames use a Cobra hook up to 70 × 100 cm and a sawtooth hanger above that size. Editions Series Frames arrive with hardware selected for the finished size and weight.
05
Custom sizing
Need a different size? Custom dimensions are available by request. Contact us before ordering so we can confirm artwork ratio, print resolution, frame availability, and pricing.

Frame dimensions describe the moulding profile. Finished dimensions vary according to the selected artwork size and mat.
