Returns & Refund Policy

At Provenance & Patina, every piece is custom made to order — produced specifically for you after your purchase. Because of the bespoke nature of our products, we maintain the following return and refund policy.

All Sales Are Final

Due to the made-to-order nature of our products, we do not accept returns, exchanges, or cancellations once an order has been placed and production has begun. We encourage you to review all product details, dimensions, and imagery carefully before purchasing.

Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

If your item arrives damaged, defective, or is not what you ordered, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at provenance@petersandel.com with the following information:

  • Your order number
  • A description of the issue
  • Clear photographs showing the damage or defect

Once we review your claim, approved issues will be resolved by repair, replacement, or refund at our discretion.

How Refunds Are Issued

If a refund is approved, it will be processed to your original payment method within 5–10 business days. Depending on your bank or credit card provider, it may take an additional 5–10 business days for the refund to appear on your statement.

Non-Returnable Items

  • Custom or made-to-order items (all fine art prints and canvas prints)
  • Custom-cut wallpaper
  • Sale items and final sale merchandise
  • Gift cards

European Union Customers

Orders shipped to the European Union are also final sale. EU withdrawal rights (Directive 2011/83/EU, Article 16(c)) do not apply to made-to-order or bespoke goods that are produced to the customer's specifications.

Order Cancellations

If you need to cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible at provenance@petersandel.com. We will do our best to accommodate cancellation requests, but once production has begun, cancellations cannot be accepted.
