Visual Impact

A shoulder and grey tank top are seen from behind at close range, swept into warm gold motion against a pale blue-green background. The close rear view makes movement feel like memory: shoulder and head remain briefly legible before warm color carries them away. The blur never fully erases him.

Artistic Detail

The shoulder enters as a broad curved plane, crossed by the grey strap and surrounded by motion. Gold streaks travel laterally through the figure, while the blue-green ground remains softer and cooler. The rear view and close crop remove face, setting, and narrative cues.

Interior Context

Gold, grey, and pale blue-green pair with brass, oak, limestone, or blue paint. The horizontal movement can animate a long wall above a cabinet and offers a useful bridge between fully figurative works and color-based abstraction. Use a medium square at the end of a passage or beside a bed; hang it solo so the blurred direction remains clear.

Quality & Presentation

Produced on museum-grade archival cotton rag paper and professionally framed in solid wood, the work is available in the sizes and frame finishes shown in the product options.

For Your Collection

Unmoored lets a male figure hover between physical body and fading trace. Within Queer Art & Gay Wall Art, that partial visibility gives movement a personal, unresolved character. The fading body recalls how movement lingers after someone passes.

The provenance of this piece begins with you.

Framing Guide

Made to last, every work is framed to order in wood with white mat board and UV-filtering acrylic.

01
Wood frames, made to order
Each frame is built and assembled for the selected artwork. Wood grain and tone vary naturally, particularly in Natural and Deep Natural.
02
White mat board
Both frame styles use white mat board scaled to the selected artwork size. Discovery Series works are set within a cut 2.4 mm conservation-grade mat. Editions Series works are floated over an uncut mat, with a spacer preventing the artwork from touching the acrylic.
03
UV-filtering acrylic
Both frame styles use clear UV-filtering acrylic. In the Editions Series Frame, a spacer keeps the floated artwork from touching the acrylic.
04
Ready to hang
Discovery Series Frames use a Cobra hook up to 70 × 100 cm and a sawtooth hanger above that size. Editions Series Frames arrive with hardware selected for the finished size and weight.
05
Custom sizing
Need a different size? Custom dimensions are available by request. Contact us before ordering so we can confirm artwork ratio, print resolution, frame availability, and pricing.

Frame dimensions describe the moulding profile. Finished dimensions vary according to the selected artwork size and mat.
