Visual Impact

A bare-shouldered man appears in warm side profile beside a softened duplicate, with bright window haze behind and deep interior shadow around both forms. The image catches that private instant when a reflection feels like another presence. Hair, jaw, shoulder, and the bright pane are enough to make the room feel inhabited.

Artistic Detail

The sharper profile establishes face and shoulder while a second form repeats them at lower contrast and slight displacement. A pale window field opens behind both, then drops abruptly into black. Warm skin links the bright and dark portions and holds the doubled figure together.

Interior Context

A medium or larger horizontal presentation lets the doubled profile separate clearly from the window haze. Place it above a low cabinet or in a bedroom where warm side light can support it. Set it beside a firmer profile study; dark framing contains the soft edges.

Quality & Presentation

Produced on museum-grade archival cotton rag paper and professionally framed in solid wood, the work is available in the sizes and frame finishes shown in the product options.

For Your Collection

A doubled body in a domestic window can feel ordinary and strange at the same time. The private male study sits within the Queer Art & Gay Wall Art Edit, using overlap and softened edges to hold that recognition.

The provenance of this piece begins with you.

Framing Guide

Made to last, every work is framed to order in wood with white mat board and UV-filtering acrylic.

01
Wood frames, made to order
Each frame is built and assembled for the selected artwork. Wood grain and tone vary naturally, particularly in Natural and Deep Natural.
02
White mat board
Both frame styles use white mat board scaled to the selected artwork size. Discovery Series works are set within a cut 2.4 mm conservation-grade mat. Editions Series works are floated over an uncut mat, with a spacer preventing the artwork from touching the acrylic.
03
UV-filtering acrylic
Both frame styles use clear UV-filtering acrylic. In the Editions Series Frame, a spacer keeps the floated artwork from touching the acrylic.
04
Ready to hang
Discovery Series Frames use a Cobra hook up to 70 × 100 cm and a sawtooth hanger above that size. Editions Series Frames arrive with hardware selected for the finished size and weight.
05
Custom sizing
Need a different size? Custom dimensions are available by request. Contact us before ordering so we can confirm artwork ratio, print resolution, frame availability, and pricing.

Frame dimensions describe the moulding profile. Finished dimensions vary according to the selected artwork size and mat.
