Visual Impact

A shirtless man seen from overhead stands in blue water wearing a dark swim brief, surrounded by white ripples and broken sun. The high view makes the body feel both near and momentary, as though caught during the brief pause between moving through water and climbing out.

Artistic Detail

The body runs vertically through the frame while the dark brief creates its most compact shape. Ripples radiate in uneven rings and cross skin at changing angles. The overhead viewpoint flattens depth, turning body, light, and water surface into one shifting pattern.

Interior Context

A medium or larger vertical presentation lets the water pattern remain active around the figure. Place it in a bath, bedroom, or on a narrow pool-house wall. Pair it with Under Water Trunks; pale or black framing both preserve the blue field.

Quality & Presentation

Produced on museum-grade archival cotton rag paper and professionally framed in solid wood, the work is available in the sizes and frame finishes shown in the product options.

For Your Collection

Sunlight redraws skin and the dark swim brief keeps the center steady while water moves beyond the crop. The companion piece in pale trunks makes a strong pairing, but this study carries enough contrast to stand on its own.

The provenance of this piece begins with you.

Framing Guide

Made to last, every work is framed to order in wood with white mat board and UV-filtering acrylic.

01
Wood frames, made to order
Each frame is built and assembled for the selected artwork. Wood grain and tone vary naturally, particularly in Natural and Deep Natural.
02
White mat board
Both frame styles use white mat board scaled to the selected artwork size. Discovery Series works are set within a cut 2.4 mm conservation-grade mat. Editions Series works are floated over an uncut mat, with a spacer preventing the artwork from touching the acrylic.
03
UV-filtering acrylic
Both frame styles use clear UV-filtering acrylic. In the Editions Series Frame, a spacer keeps the floated artwork from touching the acrylic.
04
Ready to hang
Discovery Series Frames use a Cobra hook up to 70 × 100 cm and a sawtooth hanger above that size. Editions Series Frames arrive with hardware selected for the finished size and weight.
05
Custom sizing
Need a different size? Custom dimensions are available by request. Contact us before ordering so we can confirm artwork ratio, print resolution, frame availability, and pricing.

Frame dimensions describe the moulding profile. Finished dimensions vary according to the selected artwork size and mat.
