Shared Horizon

Visual Impact

Two men walk hand in hand through shallow water beneath a rose-grey sky, their full reflections extending toward the viewer. The joined hands make a queer relationship visible through an ordinary public gesture rather than spectacle. A distant mountain, low wave, and curving shoreline give their shared movement room to exist within a larger coast.

Artistic Detail

The figures occupy a narrow horizon band while their dark reflections lengthen across wet sand. Linked hands form the smallest and most important connection. Rose, brown, and blue-grey remain softly separated, and the curved shore at right prevents the paired bodies from becoming symmetrical.

Interior Context

A larger landscape presentation is important because the joined hands must remain legible without sacrificing the open shore. Place it above a bed, sofa, or long console. Let it stand alone, or pair it with another reflective seascape; a dark frame holds the low figures and pale water.

Quality & Presentation

Produced on museum-grade archival cotton rag paper and professionally framed in solid wood, the work is available in the sizes and frame finishes shown in the product options.

For Your Collection

One joined hand makes queer relationship imagery part of coastal life rather than an added narrative. Explore the Queer Art & Gay Wall Art Edit for gay and LGBTQ+ life and the Coastal Wall Art Edit for shorelines where people give the landscape its measure.

Framing Guide

Made to last, every work is framed to order in wood with white mat board and UV-filtering acrylic.

01
Wood frames, made to order
Each frame is built and assembled for the selected artwork. Wood grain and tone vary naturally, particularly in Natural and Deep Natural.
02
White mat board
Both frame styles use white mat board scaled to the selected artwork size. Discovery Series works are set within a cut 2.4 mm conservation-grade mat. Editions Series works are floated over an uncut mat, with a spacer preventing the artwork from touching the acrylic.
03
UV-filtering acrylic
Both frame styles use clear UV-filtering acrylic. In the Editions Series Frame, a spacer keeps the floated artwork from touching the acrylic.
04
Ready to hang
Discovery Series Frames use a Cobra hook up to 70 × 100 cm and a sawtooth hanger above that size. Editions Series Frames arrive with hardware selected for the finished size and weight.
05
Custom sizing
Need a different size? Custom dimensions are available by request. Contact us before ordering so we can confirm artwork ratio, print resolution, frame availability, and pricing.

Frame dimensions describe the moulding profile. Finished dimensions vary according to the selected artwork size and mat.
