Visual Impact

A pale boxy utility vehicle sits on an empty road below overlapping grey mountain ridges and mist. The machine is less a trophy than a human-scale marker within the terrain. Its small footprint against ridge after ridge carries the feeling of stopping where the road finally gives way to distance.

Artistic Detail

The vehicle sits low and small, its squared body, upright cabin, dark wheels, and pale finish set against repeated mountain contours. Each ridge lightens as it recedes, while the immense sky leaves the coachwork as the sole hard-edged measure of distance.

Interior Context

The grey, cream, and blue-green range works with concrete, limestone, pale wood, or charcoal textiles. Choose a larger solo placement above a low cabinet, where the ridgelines can widen the room and the small vehicle remains readable from across it.

Quality & Presentation

Produced on museum-grade archival cotton rag paper and professionally framed in solid wood, the work is available in the sizes and frame finishes shown in the product options.

For Your Collection

For collectors of the Rover sequence, this is the clearest study of proportion: one compact vehicle gives the receding mountains their immense scale and turns a stop on the road into remembered distance. This field study reduces travel to three elements: vehicle, road, and mountain weather.

The provenance of this piece begins with you.

Framing Guide

Made to last, every work is framed to order in wood with white mat board and UV-filtering acrylic.

01
Wood frames, made to order
Each frame is built and assembled for the selected artwork. Wood grain and tone vary naturally, particularly in Natural and Deep Natural.
02
White mat board
Both frame styles use white mat board scaled to the selected artwork size. Discovery Series works are set within a cut 2.4 mm conservation-grade mat. Editions Series works are floated over an uncut mat, with a spacer preventing the artwork from touching the acrylic.
03
UV-filtering acrylic
Both frame styles use clear UV-filtering acrylic. In the Editions Series Frame, a spacer keeps the floated artwork from touching the acrylic.
04
Ready to hang
Discovery Series Frames use a Cobra hook up to 70 × 100 cm and a sawtooth hanger above that size. Editions Series Frames arrive with hardware selected for the finished size and weight.
05
Custom sizing
Need a different size? Custom dimensions are available by request. Contact us before ordering so we can confirm artwork ratio, print resolution, frame availability, and pricing.

Frame dimensions describe the moulding profile. Finished dimensions vary according to the selected artwork size and mat.
