A masterfully reimagined classic, this antique salon chair pairs a rich historical frame with contemporary textile artistry. Newly restored and fully reupholstered by a premier Houston workroom, the piece is finished in luxurious Cowtan & Tout velvet in a deep wine-oxblood hue, beautifully accented by citrus-orange contrast piping and precise button tufting.
The late 19th-century hardwood frame features an ebonized, blackened finish with original gilt and ochre striping accents. Grounding the piece are its original metal casters on the front legs, preserving its authentic antique character. Perfect for an elegant library corner, bedroom, or living space.
