Visual Impact

Heavy chain links extend beyond a square white field, their central interlock marked by turquoise, ochre, and rust-brown patches. The joined forms carry both force and dependence: each link is massive, but its effect comes from connection and from the irregular color and texture concentrated around the interlock.

Artistic Detail

The square crop centers the interlock while cutting the outer curves at several edges. That tension makes the links feel larger than the field containing them. Irregular color gathers around pits and seams, while white negative space provides a hard, clean countershape.

Interior Context

Turquoise, brown, ochre, and white suit rooms with stone, dark metal, oak, or muted textiles. The square format is easy to center above a cabinet and can punctuate a broad wall of larger vertical works. Keep the square at medium-to-large scale above a cabinet or bar; hang it solo or as the central work in a matched three-piece Chain group.

Quality & Presentation

Produced on museum-grade archival cotton rag paper and professionally framed in solid wood, the work is available in the sizes and frame finishes shown in the product options.

For Your Collection

Patina Chain III concentrates the series at the interlock, where repeated form and marked surface become sculptural. Turquoise crosses the broad planes while brown gathers at seams and edges. Connection, not hardness alone, gives the industrial object its lasting human reference.

The provenance of this piece begins with you.

Framing Guide

Made to last, every work is framed to order in wood with white mat board and UV-filtering acrylic.

01
Wood frames, made to order
Each frame is built and assembled for the selected artwork. Wood grain and tone vary naturally, particularly in Natural and Deep Natural.
02
White mat board
Both frame styles use white mat board scaled to the selected artwork size. Discovery Series works are set within a cut 2.4 mm conservation-grade mat. Editions Series works are floated over an uncut mat, with a spacer preventing the artwork from touching the acrylic.
03
UV-filtering acrylic
Both frame styles use clear UV-filtering acrylic. In the Editions Series Frame, a spacer keeps the floated artwork from touching the acrylic.
04
Ready to hang
Discovery Series Frames use a Cobra hook up to 70 × 100 cm and a sawtooth hanger above that size. Editions Series Frames arrive with hardware selected for the finished size and weight.
05
Custom sizing
Need a different size? Custom dimensions are available by request. Contact us before ordering so we can confirm artwork ratio, print resolution, frame availability, and pricing.

Frame dimensions describe the moulding profile. Finished dimensions vary according to the selected artwork size and mat.
