Mountain Storm

Visual Impact

Towering storm clouds rise above rust-toned hills, dry gold grass, and scattered shrubs, leaving land as a narrow band beneath monumental weather. Cream-lit edges make the cloud mass feel both heavy and in motion. The view recalls the bodily scale of standing under a sky that has suddenly become the entire place.

Artistic Detail

Charcoal cloud forms fill most of the vertical frame, modeled by pale rims and internal shadow. Below, rust hills and gold grass create thinner horizontal layers. A bright seam at the horizon separates earth from weather and intensifies the darker volume above.

Interior Context

This work should be shown large because the extreme sky-to-land ratio is its subject. Place it on a stair hall, living-room wall, or above a low cabinet with open space overhead. Keep other artwork at a distance; dark wood or black framing gives the cloud field weight.

Quality & Presentation

Produced on museum-grade archival cotton rag paper and professionally framed in solid wood, the work is available in the sizes and frame finishes shown in the product options.

For Your Collection

Familiar hills and grass become minor measures beneath the sky when weather reaches this scale. The piece brings an earthier register to the atmospheric works, with cloud volume and a bright horizon carrying the sense of place.

The provenance of this piece begins with you.

Framing Guide

Made to last, every work is framed to order in wood with white mat board and UV-filtering acrylic.

01
Wood frames, made to order
Each frame is built and assembled for the selected artwork. Wood grain and tone vary naturally, particularly in Natural and Deep Natural.
02
White mat board
Both frame styles use white mat board scaled to the selected artwork size. Discovery Series works are set within a cut 2.4 mm conservation-grade mat. Editions Series works are floated over an uncut mat, with a spacer preventing the artwork from touching the acrylic.
03
UV-filtering acrylic
Both frame styles use clear UV-filtering acrylic. In the Editions Series Frame, a spacer keeps the floated artwork from touching the acrylic.
04
Ready to hang
Discovery Series Frames use a Cobra hook up to 70 × 100 cm and a sawtooth hanger above that size. Editions Series Frames arrive with hardware selected for the finished size and weight.
05
Custom sizing
Need a different size? Custom dimensions are available by request. Contact us before ordering so we can confirm artwork ratio, print resolution, frame availability, and pricing.

Frame dimensions describe the moulding profile. Finished dimensions vary according to the selected artwork size and mat.
