Mister Disco

Visual Impact

A suited figure holds a mirrored sphere before his face, an open white shirt cutting through the dark jacket as light bursts at the right edge. The sphere is both mask and beacon, turning self-presentation into a decision about what the night reveals and what it withholds.

Artistic Detail

The mirror ball replaces the face with hundreds of small facets, while the suit creates a broad dark field below. An open shirt supplies a clean white V at center. The side burst flares across the sphere and breaks the otherwise controlled brown-grey range.

Interior Context

Black, white, brown, and silver suit dining rooms, lounges, or studies with lacquer, walnut, mirror, and aged metal. The centered portrait can command a narrow wall and provides reflected shine without relying on bright color. Give the portrait medium-to-large height beside a bar or over a narrow cabinet; show it alone or beside one unmasked disco portrait.

Quality & Presentation

Produced on museum-grade archival cotton rag paper and professionally framed in solid wood, the work is available in the sizes and frame finishes shown in the product options.

For Your Collection

Mister Disco makes anonymity active through formal dress and a mirrored mask. It belongs with collectors drawn to nightlife, performance, and the ways people choose to be seen. Concealment becomes part of how the sitter chooses to appear.

The provenance of this piece begins with you.

Framing Guide

Made to last, every work is framed to order in wood with white mat board and UV-filtering acrylic.

01
Wood frames, made to order
Each frame is built and assembled for the selected artwork. Wood grain and tone vary naturally, particularly in Natural and Deep Natural.
02
White mat board
Both frame styles use white mat board scaled to the selected artwork size. Discovery Series works are set within a cut 2.4 mm conservation-grade mat. Editions Series works are floated over an uncut mat, with a spacer preventing the artwork from touching the acrylic.
03
UV-filtering acrylic
Both frame styles use clear UV-filtering acrylic. In the Editions Series Frame, a spacer keeps the floated artwork from touching the acrylic.
04
Ready to hang
Discovery Series Frames use a Cobra hook up to 70 × 100 cm and a sawtooth hanger above that size. Editions Series Frames arrive with hardware selected for the finished size and weight.
05
Custom sizing
Need a different size? Custom dimensions are available by request. Contact us before ordering so we can confirm artwork ratio, print resolution, frame availability, and pricing.

Frame dimensions describe the moulding profile. Finished dimensions vary according to the selected artwork size and mat.
