An enduring icon of modernist design, this vintage Kaiser Idell desk lamp—model 6631 designed by Christian Dell—presents a striking silhouette in a rich, lacquered ruby red. Originally conceived in the Bauhaus tradition, this post-war 1950s German piece combines sculptural precision with functional elegance, featuring a high-gloss red shade and base beautifully offset by chrome-plated metal accents.
Fully rewired with a period-appropriate black silk twisted cord for modern safety, this piece remains in very good vintage condition, exhibiting gentle wear consistent with its age and history.
