A spired landmark rises at left while a modern slab tower, low rooftops, translucent blocks, and fine rules overlap across a pale city field. The work captures the way New York can be remembered through competing eras rather than one clean view. Familiar architecture survives, but only as one layer among many.

Artistic Detail

The spire provides a clear vertical, countered by the heavier central tower and a band of roofs below. Transparent geometric shapes cross the structures without erasing them. Ivory, grey, and black keep the collage legible while giving the city view the feel of an assembled record.

Interior Context

At medium or larger square scale, landmark, roof detail, and fine overlay lines register at different distances. Place it above a desk, console, or in an apartment entry. Set it beside another Luminocities study; a black frame gives the pale collage a precise boundary.

Made to last, every work is framed to order in wood with white mat board and UV-filtering acrylic.

Wood frames, made to order
Each frame is built and assembled for the selected artwork. Wood grain and tone vary naturally, particularly in Natural and Deep Natural.

White mat board
Both frame styles use white mat board scaled to the selected artwork size. Discovery Series works are set within a cut 2.4 mm conservation-grade mat. Editions Series works are floated over an uncut mat, with a spacer preventing the artwork from touching the acrylic.

UV-filtering acrylic
Both frame styles use clear UV-filtering acrylic. In the Editions Series Frame, a spacer keeps the floated artwork from touching the acrylic.

Ready to hang
Discovery Series Frames use a Cobra hook up to 70 × 100 cm and a sawtooth hanger above that size. Editions Series Frames arrive with hardware selected for the finished size and weight.
