Crescent Moon

Visual Impact

This architectural study recalls a Budapest rooftop at dusk. A silhouetted exterior staircase and arched doorway rise against a muted pink sky, with a crescent moon suspended above the city. The low skyline remains secondary, preserving the sensation of looking up from one roof and finding a small celestial detail held within familiar masonry.

Artistic Detail

Diagonal stair rails lead from the heavy structure toward open sky, while a long parapet closes the lower edge. The arched opening and moon introduce two pale curves into a composition dominated by straight lines, charcoal shadow, dusty rose, and distant grey.

Interior Context

At medium or larger horizontal scale, the moon remains small but visible against the open sky. Place it above a low cabinet, bed, or along a hallway sight line. A solo position with open wall strengthens the silhouette; dark framing gives it a firm continuation.

Quality & Presentation

Produced on museum-grade archival cotton rag paper and professionally framed in solid wood, the work is available in the sizes and frame finishes shown in the product options.

For Your Collection

Stair, arch, horizon, and moon are enough to make a rooftop memorable. The suggested Budapest setting adds geographic character, but the real recognition comes from an upward glance and the pink evening light around it.

The provenance of this piece begins with you.

Framing Guide

Made to last, every work is framed to order in wood with white mat board and UV-filtering acrylic.

01
Wood frames, made to order
Each frame is built and assembled for the selected artwork. Wood grain and tone vary naturally, particularly in Natural and Deep Natural.
02
White mat board
Both frame styles use white mat board scaled to the selected artwork size. Discovery Series works are set within a cut 2.4 mm conservation-grade mat. Editions Series works are floated over an uncut mat, with a spacer preventing the artwork from touching the acrylic.
03
UV-filtering acrylic
Both frame styles use clear UV-filtering acrylic. In the Editions Series Frame, a spacer keeps the floated artwork from touching the acrylic.
04
Ready to hang
Discovery Series Frames use a Cobra hook up to 70 × 100 cm and a sawtooth hanger above that size. Editions Series Frames arrive with hardware selected for the finished size and weight.
05
Custom sizing
Need a different size? Custom dimensions are available by request. Contact us before ordering so we can confirm artwork ratio, print resolution, frame availability, and pricing.

Frame dimensions describe the moulding profile. Finished dimensions vary according to the selected artwork size and mat.
