Concrete Curves

Visual Impact

A pale circular chamber encloses a curved bench, large ceiling opening, dark rectangular doorway, and one small seated figure. The person is not incidental; the seated body gives the circular room a human measure and makes its emptiness physically understandable. One seated posture holds that scale in place.

Artistic Detail

Round forms govern the chamber: wall, bench, and overhead opening sweep around the horizontal frame, interrupted by the doorway’s black rectangle. The seated figure provides the only organic measure, emphasizing the architecture’s broad surfaces and strong transitions between light and shade.

Interior Context

The pale neutral field and broad format suit a living room, entry, office, or dining space. It can sit beside stone, oak, blackened metal, wool, or white paint and gives architectural weight without introducing a busy skyline. Use the larger horizontal work above a low cabinet, with the seated figure near normal sightline; keep it solo so arcs and doorway remain uninterrupted.

Quality & Presentation

Produced on museum-grade archival cotton rag paper and professionally framed in solid wood, the work is available in the sizes and frame finishes shown in the product options.

For Your Collection

Concrete Curves is both spatial study and portrait of solitude, built from one body inside an immense circular chamber. The room's purpose can stay unresolved because its human scale is clear. Solitude is measured through the room.

The provenance of this piece begins with you.

Framing Guide

Made to last, every work is framed to order in wood with white mat board and UV-filtering acrylic.

01
Wood frames, made to order
Each frame is built and assembled for the selected artwork. Wood grain and tone vary naturally, particularly in Natural and Deep Natural.
02
White mat board
Both frame styles use white mat board scaled to the selected artwork size. Discovery Series works are set within a cut 2.4 mm conservation-grade mat. Editions Series works are floated over an uncut mat, with a spacer preventing the artwork from touching the acrylic.
03
UV-filtering acrylic
Both frame styles use clear UV-filtering acrylic. In the Editions Series Frame, a spacer keeps the floated artwork from touching the acrylic.
04
Ready to hang
Discovery Series Frames use a Cobra hook up to 70 × 100 cm and a sawtooth hanger above that size. Editions Series Frames arrive with hardware selected for the finished size and weight.
05
Custom sizing
Need a different size? Custom dimensions are available by request. Contact us before ordering so we can confirm artwork ratio, print resolution, frame availability, and pricing.

Frame dimensions describe the moulding profile. Finished dimensions vary according to the selected artwork size and mat.
