Christal Disco

Visual Impact

Christal Disco places a seated man in an open white pleated shirt beneath crystal chandeliers and scattered mirrored light. The open shirt and lowered posture temper the flash of crystal overhead, allowing the person to remain present inside a room built from reflection. Darkness gives the chandeliers their reach.

Artistic Detail

Pleats create a fan of narrow lines around the torso, contrasting with the irregular points thrown by crystal and mirrors overhead. White and silver flare against the dark ground, while the seated pose keeps the figure stable within an otherwise glittering field.

Interior Context

Black, white, and silver suit a dressing room, bar, bedroom, or living room with a nocturnal edge. The portrait can stand alone above a cabinet or join fashion and disco subjects beside lacquer, mirror, chrome, velvet, or dark paint. Center the medium-to-large square above a bar cabinet; pair it with one disco portrait whose figure remains similarly still.

Quality & Presentation

Produced on museum-grade archival cotton rag paper and professionally framed in solid wood, the work is available in the sizes and frame finishes shown in the product options.

For Your Collection

Pleated white cloth, exposed skin, chandelier crystal, and mirrored light give the portrait its after-hours tension. It joins Queer Art & Gay Wall Art through male presence held inside reflected light. The lowered pose keeps sparkle from becoming pure spectacle.

Framing Guide

Made to last, every work is framed to order in wood with white mat board and UV-filtering acrylic.

01
Wood frames, made to order
Each frame is built and assembled for the selected artwork. Wood grain and tone vary naturally, particularly in Natural and Deep Natural.
02
White mat board
Both frame styles use white mat board scaled to the selected artwork size. Discovery Series works are set within a cut 2.4 mm conservation-grade mat. Editions Series works are floated over an uncut mat, with a spacer preventing the artwork from touching the acrylic.
03
UV-filtering acrylic
Both frame styles use clear UV-filtering acrylic. In the Editions Series Frame, a spacer keeps the floated artwork from touching the acrylic.
04
Ready to hang
Discovery Series Frames use a Cobra hook up to 70 × 100 cm and a sawtooth hanger above that size. Editions Series Frames arrive with hardware selected for the finished size and weight.
05
Custom sizing
Need a different size? Custom dimensions are available by request. Contact us before ordering so we can confirm artwork ratio, print resolution, frame availability, and pricing.

Frame dimensions describe the moulding profile. Finished dimensions vary according to the selected artwork size and mat.
