Between Moments - No. 3

Visual Impact

A shirtless man sits on dark bedding in Between Moments - No. 3. Warm light makes the unposed arrangement feel close and lived-in, the kind of bodily pause recognized before someone shifts position or rises. The extended leg makes that pause physically expansive rather than withdrawn.

Artistic Detail

The seated body joins a compact upright torso to two legs moving in opposite directions. Dark bedding absorbs much of the background, allowing warm light to define shoulder, chest, thigh, and shin in separate passages and keep the informal pose visually structured.

Interior Context

Brown, cream, and near-black give the work a place in a bedroom, dressing area, library, or den. Its square field can center above a headboard or console and sits readily with walnut, linen, leather, or dark painted walls. Place the square work above a bed or low credenza at medium-to-large scale; pair it with one Between Moments work, leaving clear space around the extended leg.

Quality & Presentation

Produced on museum-grade archival cotton rag paper and professionally framed in solid wood, the work is available in the sizes and frame finishes shown in the product options.

For Your Collection

The seated arrangement records rest through posture rather than expression. It belongs in Queer Art & Gay Wall Art as a direct male figure study with domestic ease. Warm light gives the unposed body a recognizable domestic ease.

Framing Guide

Made to last, every work is framed to order in wood with white mat board and UV-filtering acrylic.

01
Wood frames, made to order
Each frame is built and assembled for the selected artwork. Wood grain and tone vary naturally, particularly in Natural and Deep Natural.
02
White mat board
Both frame styles use white mat board scaled to the selected artwork size. Discovery Series works are set within a cut 2.4 mm conservation-grade mat. Editions Series works are floated over an uncut mat, with a spacer preventing the artwork from touching the acrylic.
03
UV-filtering acrylic
Both frame styles use clear UV-filtering acrylic. In the Editions Series Frame, a spacer keeps the floated artwork from touching the acrylic.
04
Ready to hang
Discovery Series Frames use a Cobra hook up to 70 × 100 cm and a sawtooth hanger above that size. Editions Series Frames arrive with hardware selected for the finished size and weight.
05
Custom sizing
Need a different size? Custom dimensions are available by request. Contact us before ordering so we can confirm artwork ratio, print resolution, frame availability, and pricing.

Frame dimensions describe the moulding profile. Finished dimensions vary according to the selected artwork size and mat.
