Between Moments - No. 2

Visual Impact

A seated figure, folded leg, and face beyond the crop define Between Moments - No. 2. The off-duty posture feels unguarded: a body settling into the bed before action or conversation resumes, with the face deliberately beyond reach. Rumpled bedding keeps the encounter close to daily life.

Artistic Detail

The bent leg creates a compact triangle at center, while the charcoal shirt and bedding merge into larger fields of shadow. Warm illumination separates skin from fabric in narrow increments, allowing posture and surface to carry the image without a visible face or wider setting.

Interior Context

The low-key palette fits a bedroom, study, dressing room, or grouping of figurative works. Its square format sits cleanly above a low cabinet or centered over a bench, especially beside walnut, bronze, charcoal upholstery, and cream woven textiles. Use a medium square above a nightstand or low cabinet; pair it only with one Between Moments work at matching height.

Quality & Presentation

Produced on museum-grade archival cotton rag paper and professionally framed in solid wood, the work is available in the sizes and frame finishes shown in the product options.

For Your Collection

Dark cloth, warm skin, and a folded pose turn an ordinary pause into close observation. It joins Queer Art & Gay Wall Art through a male body shown without performance. Proximity to an off-duty posture supplies the work's intimacy.

The provenance of this piece begins with you.

Framing Guide

Made to last, every work is framed to order in wood with white mat board and UV-filtering acrylic.

01
Wood frames, made to order
Each frame is built and assembled for the selected artwork. Wood grain and tone vary naturally, particularly in Natural and Deep Natural.
02
White mat board
Both frame styles use white mat board scaled to the selected artwork size. Discovery Series works are set within a cut 2.4 mm conservation-grade mat. Editions Series works are floated over an uncut mat, with a spacer preventing the artwork from touching the acrylic.
03
UV-filtering acrylic
Both frame styles use clear UV-filtering acrylic. In the Editions Series Frame, a spacer keeps the floated artwork from touching the acrylic.
04
Ready to hang
Discovery Series Frames use a Cobra hook up to 70 × 100 cm and a sawtooth hanger above that size. Editions Series Frames arrive with hardware selected for the finished size and weight.
05
Custom sizing
Need a different size? Custom dimensions are available by request. Contact us before ordering so we can confirm artwork ratio, print resolution, frame availability, and pricing.

Frame dimensions describe the moulding profile. Finished dimensions vary according to the selected artwork size and mat.
