Backroads Prince

Visual Impact

A shirtless rider seen from behind crosses an open green field on a dark brown horse in Backroads Prince. The rider's bare back makes weather and distance physically immediate. Horse, grass, and rising cloud carry a sense of passage across open land without turning the figure into a generic emblem of the West.

Artistic Detail

The rider and horse form one dark vertical near the center, set against horizontal bands of grass, distant land, and sky. Sunlit green, dark brown, blue, and cloud white keep the rural scene clear, while the rear view leaves its destination unresolved.

Interior Context

Green field, blue sky, and dark brown work with oak, saddle-toned leather, linen, or iron. Use a larger vertical format between windows, on a stair landing, or above a narrow console; keep it solo so the low rider and cloud-filled sky retain their scale relationship.

Quality & Presentation

Produced on museum-grade archival cotton rag paper and professionally framed in solid wood, the work is available in the sizes and frame finishes shown in the product options.

For Your Collection

It enters Western Wall Art through the human relation between rider, horse, grassland, and changing sky. Rather than presenting the horse as a formal study, the image places movement within weather and acreage.

The provenance of this piece begins with you.

Framing Guide

Made to last, every work is framed to order in wood with white mat board and UV-filtering acrylic.

01
Wood frames, made to order
Each frame is built and assembled for the selected artwork. Wood grain and tone vary naturally, particularly in Natural and Deep Natural.
02
White mat board
Both frame styles use white mat board scaled to the selected artwork size. Discovery Series works are set within a cut 2.4 mm conservation-grade mat. Editions Series works are floated over an uncut mat, with a spacer preventing the artwork from touching the acrylic.
03
UV-filtering acrylic
Both frame styles use clear UV-filtering acrylic. In the Editions Series Frame, a spacer keeps the floated artwork from touching the acrylic.
04
Ready to hang
Discovery Series Frames use a Cobra hook up to 70 × 100 cm and a sawtooth hanger above that size. Editions Series Frames arrive with hardware selected for the finished size and weight.
05
Custom sizing
Need a different size? Custom dimensions are available by request. Contact us before ordering so we can confirm artwork ratio, print resolution, frame availability, and pricing.

Frame dimensions describe the moulding profile. Finished dimensions vary according to the selected artwork size and mat.
