Visual Impact

Two shirtless figures stand face to face at a narrow doorway crossed by blue-green shadow and a hard strip of light. Foreheads meet in the narrow space of a doorway, making proximity more important than expression. The surrounding darkness turns a small gesture into the full event while still protecting the figures from explanation.

Artistic Detail

The doorway supplies two firm vertical edges while the opposing profiles create a narrower central gap. A hard line of light cuts through the blue-green shadow and touches skin at different depths. The limited setting keeps posture, distance, and the architectural boundary fully visible.

Interior Context

Blue-green, black, and warm skin tones pair with dark wood, glazed tile, stone, or pale paint. Use the horizontal format above a low cabinet or headboard; hang it solo so the doorway remains an enclosing frame, with open wall at either side extending the tension between the two figures.

Each frame is built and assembled for the selected artwork. Wood grain and tone vary naturally, particularly in Natural and Deep Natural.

Both frame styles use white mat board scaled to the selected artwork size. Discovery Series works are set within a cut 2.4 mm conservation-grade mat. Editions Series works are floated over an uncut mat, with a spacer preventing the artwork from touching the acrylic.

UV-filtering acrylic
Both frame styles use clear UV-filtering acrylic. In the Editions Series Frame, a spacer keeps the floated artwork from touching the acrylic.

Ready to hang
Discovery Series Frames use a Cobra hook up to 70 × 100 cm and a sawtooth hanger above that size. Editions Series Frames arrive with hardware selected for the finished size and weight.
